Do My Nutribullet Parts Need Replacing?

How to tell if any part of your Nutribullet Blender needs replacing.

From powerouts to leaks, there are several signs that something is not right it may be that you need a replacement part.

Please remember to unplug your Nutribullet before working on it, and if it is unsafe, do not use it - seek professional help for any issue with wiring, and if you dismantle it you may void the guarantee.

No Power, Captain

Depending on the amount of solids to liquids, the performance of your Nutribullet may vary. Not enough liquid and the blades may struggle to blitz through the ingredients.

Running your Nutribullet for too long can cause the motor to overheat, so the blenders have a thermal cut out. When it starts to get hot your blender will automatically stop, just leave it for a while and it will start to work again.

The blender is designed to blitz drinks in 20-40 seconds. Using the blender for longer can have this temporary effect.

Always unplug your  Nutribullet before inspecting the base unit but it might be worth checking the wiring if your blender still doesn't work after leaving it to cool down. If it doesn't work after a few minutes leave it for 30 minutes. Then try it again.

All noise and no action

The motor turns the blade with the help of the gears. If you Nutribullt makes noise but the blades don't turn - it's highly likely that you will need new gears. But also check that the blade unit connection is not worn or broken. A new blade unit can get you up and blitzing in no time.

Not the sharpest tool

If your smoothies are not as smooth as you like them, or the drink is getting a bit warmer after blitzing, it's likely the Nutribullet blades need replacing.

Having to use your blender for longer can cause overheating so if it takes longer to get your drink smooth, it would be worth getting a replacement blade unit.

Body issues

Your main clue is any leaks. This can indicate that either a seal is not doing it's job properly, a crack in the blade unit or in the cup.

Not seating the blade on the cup correctly before tightening can mean the seal isn't as close as need be. Forcing the cup and blade may break or damage the threads and cause the connection to leak.

Bowing under the stress

With Nutribullet cups, it might be that the leak is only apparent when the blender is working, the forces and vibration may make the issue worse.

Most problems with your blender are easy to prevent, wear and tear on your Nutribullet may mean you need to replace some of the harder working parts.
